Inktrix Tattoo - Get Your Ink Fix at Inktrix
Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does it hurt to get a tattoo?

A. The answer is yes and no. You can be sure that our artists use extreme care to ensure you receive the highest quality of art in the industry. When done properly, getting a tattoo should not be an "excessively unpleasant" experience. Be sure to request a topical numbing gel if you think you might be a sissy!

2. Is it safe to get a tattoo?

A. Yes, when done by a trained professional, getting a tattoo is safe. Here at Inktrix Tattoo we understand that you never get a second chance to make a first impression and we take great pride in our cleanliness and professionalism. We have strict guidelines in place and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding safety and sanitation.

3. How do I schedule an appointment?

A. You can schedule an appointment with us by calling (308) 430-8532, dropping by our studio in person Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 6pm to 10pm, or via email at rich.bates@inktrixtattoo.com. Remember that there is a $50 non-refundable scheduling fee. This fee will be applied to your tattoo once you arrive, or forfeited in the event of a no-show.

4. What is the most important thing to know about getting a tattoo?

A. AFTERCARE, AFTERCARE, AFTERCARE. Not only is it a legal requirement to provide every client with aftercare instructions, our artists will go over proper aftercare practices with you in great detail. The quality of the finished product is not only the result of having a licensed professional work with you, but rests largely on the level of care you give to your new artwork. In fact, if our artists fail to provide you with a written copy of our recommended aftercare procedures, your work is FREE!

5. What all do I have to present to Inktrix to get a tattoo?

A. We will need to see a state or government issued photo ID. This ID must be valid. Expired documents will not be accepted. There is also some required literature that your artist will cover with you at the time of your appointment.

6. Can minors get a tattoo?

A. Yes, minors can get a tattoo as long as their parent or legal guardian signs a consent form and are present during the entire procedure. Due to the strong feelings our artists have about their artwork and understanding that a tattoo is a permanent modification to your appearance, absolutely NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 16 will receive a tattoo from Inktrix. Additional documents may be required.

7. I am thinking about getting my first tattoo...what things should I consider when looking at design ideas?

A. Ultimately, you want to be sure that the design you choose means something to you. Tattoos are PERMANENT modifications to your body and you should choose something that you will be proud to have for the rest of your life. Our artists are experienced in custom designs and proper placement....do not hesitate to request time to visit with one of our artists before you decide on a permanent design.

8. Do you provide any Veteran or Military discounts?

A. Abso-freakin'-lutely. We are extremely proud of our Armed Forces and our Nation's Veterans. Any Veteran or member of any branch of service will receive a 20% discount on all work done at Inktrix Tattoo for life! No limitations or exclusions apply. The only requirement is a valid military ID card, or a certified copy of a DD 214 that shows an honorable discharge.
